Here’s Why Mindset Matters When it Comes to Following Your Purpose…

Do you know how to talk yourself off the ledge?

Sometimes you may start to wonder: “Are my dreams achievable?”

“Do people need what I have to offer, or want this?”

“Am I deluding myself and wasting my time?”

“Can I REALLY do this?”

…Insert a long string of self-defeating thoughts, fear, uncertainty, and giving up as a result.

You may even start to tell yourself things like, “Maybe I’m barking up the wrong tree, and am not cut out for this.”

NONSENSE.

If there’s a quote that can inspire you today, let it be this:

When you want something, all the universe conspires to help you achieve it. – Paulo Coelho, The Alchemist

I may not know you personally, but I can say this for certain: you didn’t come into this life to be given a dream, to only experience the absence of it.

If you’re reading this right now, then I can also say with 99% certainty that you are meant for more than simply making money.

If you’re anything like me, you have a burning desire for more freedom, fuller self-expression, and even to uplift and serve humanity in some way.

So if someone tells you, (or you tell yourself) “Maybe I’m just not meant for more.”

I call BS.

Why would someone else be worthy of more, but not you?

My friend, your ability to create your life, is in your hands.

If you feel a desire that you can’t turn off, I get you.

If you’re reading this, you’re likely terrified of taking a step forward because of fear, doubts, and uncertainties.

Yet, I can tell you this with certainty — you are on the edge of a breakthrough.

Except, here’s the thing: how willing are you to live in that discomfort? Are you willing to finally walk through the door to the other side of the fear?

Is it terrifying, yes?

But are you alone?

Not at all.

Because one thing I know for certain?

The stories you tell yourself matter. A LOT.

They can either make or break you.

When you learn how to tell stories that resonate with your higher self, you will begin to feel the support around you.

Then it is just a matter of time before the physical support manifests itself.

It’s time to become unstuck, my friend. Coaching can help.

What’s Holding You Back Isn’t Always Obvious

Oftentimes, the reason behind your lack of motivation isn’t the obvious answer.

It likely isn’t because:

  • your family doesn’t support you.
  • you haven’t mastered positive self-talk.
  • your desires are only pipe dreams.
  • It very well could be:
  • you’re overwhelmed,
  • tired,
  • don’t know how to get started, and
  • lack the mental clarity and focus to regulate yourself and harmonize with your higher self-perspective.

Stress and anxiety run high when you don’t know what you’re doing, how to think, or where you’re headed.

That makes it hard to stay consistent, and when you are inconsistent, it’s easy to lose motivation.

But what consistency comes down to, is being so in love with your process of creating and with the journey, that you cannot stop.

The very process itself becomes your fuel.

When that happens, you are no longer attached to the outcome.

When you release attachment to the fear outcome, you free up energy to get into the flow state.

And once you hit the flow state, you’re golden.

Researchers back this up. They have found that interest can replace the mental effort necessary to do a task.

What’s more?

Your performance improves.

You can read more about this study here.

So the next time you feel a lack of motivation, ask yourself how regulated are you, and if you’re in the flow state.

If you focus on the tasks that light you up first, your motivation will naturally increase.

If you want clarity around your unique soul purpose, what may be holding you back from being consistent and productive, along with a personalized roadmap to help you increase your confidence, clarity, courage, and conviction, click here to book a free breakthrough call with me.

Embrace your core identity and unleash your power. There's no imposter syndrome when you realize that no one else can be you. So go ahead, be your authentic self, and watch the magic unfold. • We've been conditioned to seek validation from external sources, whether it's to get good grades, please others, or seek recognition. But it's time for a mindset shift! One way is to learn from little kids who naturally know how to fulfill their cup from within. If you need help with this, shoot me a DM with the word "love" and I'll give you some actionable strategies to shift.
  • If you’re one to beat up on yourself, or feel like you’ll finally be good enough once you reach that next milestone or achievement, you just might be in a toxic relationship with yourself 😆

If you’re ready to heal this, I’m hosting a free workshop in my private group tomorrow.

  • Validation starts from within. Instead of seeking external approval, focus on self-discovery and personal development. Find what fills your cup and nourishes you from the inside out. For me, it's reading, writing, and embracing self-care. When I neglect these activities, I notice a shift in my demeanor and interactions with others. Let's prioritize our own well-being to avoid unintentionally impacting those around us. #ValidationStartsFromWithin #SelfDiscovery #PersonalDevelopment
